Art Style

Realism

Realism is an art style where the animal/bird is recreated in the original way. By varying the thickness of the brush strokes and by using the layering method the depth and density of fur or feather of the given subject is achieved. With the usage of the right shades and tones and by giving shadows at the exact areas the given picture of the animal is recreated in the required size.

Here two or three subjects can be combined into a single painting or even a photograph that is not properly focused can be made into an appropriate painting.

Abstraction

Abstraction is an art style where the entire painting revolves around the imagination of an artist. Realistic elements are broken into shapes, lines and dots, and with a beautiful play of colors, the painting is brought to life with a hidden story & meaning.

In abstract art, there can be different perspectives of how the viewers interpret the painting.

Realism with Abstraction

Over a period of time, I have evolved a style of my own combining both the above techniques. Most of the paintings that I create on my own revolve around this style.

Here THE SUBJECT stays REALISTIC and the BACKGROUND is ABSTRACTED conveying a story or emotion related to the subject.

BACKGROUND INTERPRETATIONS
  • A Chick sleeping peacefully amidst worldly chaos.
  • In a thick green jungle during a safari on a moving vehicle, our eyes always keep searching for the spot of orange and black!!!

The Field To Frame Concept

This is a unique concept developed: to tell the stories of the jungle through art, to make the paintings interactive and to form an emotional connection with the viewers.

FIELD: The Jungle/Forest/Nature

TO

FRAME: The Canvas

Each of the WILDLIFE PAINTINGS are inspirations from the jungle, the backgrounds of the paintings here always has a story, either about the animal or about the event of witnessing it or about the emotions connected with it.
